Associate Account Manager – Required Knowledge and Experience:

The Associate Account Manager (AAM) will play a vital role in customer retention and growth. This is an entry-point position for Account Management and Sales professionals who are looking to grow into the more complex Account Manager, Senior Account Manager or Channel Manager roles. The AAM will manage a large number of small-to-midsize accounts and will become the data expert on the team. The role will require being a good communicator and some of the work will be customer-facing.

Even when the Sales and AM teams are exceeding their quotas, there will always be new opportunities for optimizing efficiencies, so creativity and resourcefulness are needed.

The AAM will be deputized to work as an Account Manager (AM) or Senior Account Manager should they be indisposed for some reason. The job will be analytical and require heavy systems work and an ability to manage and analyze large data sets (pivot tables, v-lookups, data extraction and linking).

The AAM will need to work across nearly all of Peerless Network’s functional areas, but mainly Channel Sales, Business Intelligence, Service Delivery and Billing.

AAMs must demonstrate an understanding of internal procedures, exhibit resourcefulness and be dedicated to Peerless Network’s values.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to use personal computer and basic software applications
  • At minimum moderate ability, but high aptitude to collect, maneuver, and interpret large data sets across multiple systems.

The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by most people assigned to this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and requirements.
