VP of Direct Enterprise – Overview of Opportunity:

The VP of Sales and Direct Enterprise will be responsible for managing a team of experienced professionals that will focus on medium to large opportunities. They will also be responsible for driving the sales process, educating, and growing the team’s skillset to be successful. You will manage and work with Salesforce to ensure critical data is complete, accurate, and up to date, with a focus on removing obstacles to accelerate our sales cycles. Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify new customer sales opportunities, define customer needs, prepare proposals, and close deals

  • Manage the sales team to conduct proactive sales activities, including cold-calling and knocking on doors, proactive needs assessment, applications development, proposal presentation, order negotiation, and post-sales service requirements

  • Assist with negotiations to secure contracts with telecommunications decision makers in order to achieve revenue growth and retention

  • Manage installation projects with various internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, successful turn-up, and customer satisfaction

  • Respond to customers’ requests for information, support, assistance, joint proposals, pricing, etc.

  • Respond to demand sales requests and reporting

  • Supports others within the sales/service team to achieve customer satisfaction

  • Enrich the sales team and organization with your knowledge and leadership experience

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling B2B in technology environment

  • 2 or 4 year college degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of management experience

  • Must have a proven record of achieving plans and a strong knowledge of salesforce

  • Demonstrated success in telecommunications and internet sales to end-user customers, including strategic and large business customers and government accounts using relationship management and system sales concepts.

  • Experience in systems selling, consultative sales techniques, customer needs analysis, sales opportunity development, and service improvement planning

  • Ability to interact with key seniors stakeholders or C-level executives within an organization

  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills

  • Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills

  • Working knowledge of general marketing principal tools and processes

  • Product knowledge of both switched and dedicated services, as well as associated end-user and carrier applications

 

Salary Range: $140K-170K base 70/30 split – This position is eligible for uncapped commissions, paid out on a quarterly basis. If the target quota is met, the potential annual earning is a range of $60,000 to $72,857.14 USD.
